At its latest edition (2021), with all new categories, a more efficient and simpler user interface for filing nominations, we evaluated the entries through a stringent three-level evaluation process, by an eminent jury that skimmed out the best from the rest.

Lion Brewery
For an ERP project unique in terms of scale and speed, the coveted honour was conferred upon Sri Lanka’s most loved beverage manufacturer, Lion Brewery. The manufacturer has set new business benchmarks in simplified financial accounting, closing and streamlined maintenance and more accurate planning by upgrading to S/4 HANA from ECC.

SAP ACE Award For Running A Real Time, Live Enterprise: Large Enterprise

The honour was bestowed upon India’s most respected technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services conglomerate, Larsen & Toubro Ltd. They successfully implemented s/4 HANA for 3 verticals, leading to simplified processes, increased efficiency, faster report generation, better contextual awareness and democratized data access.
SAP ACE Award For Running A Real Time, Live Enterprise: Mid – Size Companies
Roop Polymers
The second award of this category was given to a world class manufacturer of moulded and extruded rubber & plastic parts for Automotive OEMs, Roop Polymers, for integrating operations across 7 locations using S/4 HANA. Which led to standardization of process across organisation, enhanced cost control and visibility, along with a real time view on P&L.
Leveraging SAP Cloud Infrastructure
Ashok Leyland
An award dedicated to recognising projects where companies leveraged SAP Cloud infrastructure to build or extend applications that can fuel new revenue streams was given to Ashok Leyland. Ashok Leyland is one of the most respective automotive brands and one of the largest commercial vehicles, trucks and bus manufacturers in the world. By leveraging SAP cloud platform mobile services integrating their application to SAP CRM, they could ace their Prism 2.0 project, that aimed at revamping and augmenting the mobile application for dealer sales executives.
Running a Live Real Time Enterprise – Mid Size Companies
Jivraj Tea Limited
The coveted award went to a leading tea company hailing from Gujrat, Jivraj Tea Limited for deployment of SAP S/4 HANA in lieu of multiple legacy systems, delivering ROI in price trend analysis, real time information on fast running SKU’s, along with dynamic credit control checks, leading to better cost control and cost visibility.

TATA Power Company Ltd
The award was meant to recognize projects that have leveraged future forward tech such as AI, ML & IOT, and the accolade was crowned upon India’s Largest Integrated Power Company, TATA Power Company Ltd. It is a pioneer that has been driving the energy sector with technology process and platform. Under its latest project, it leveraged SAP Service Ticket Intelligence& Natural Language Processing based Machine learning model to automate processing of emails with SAP CRM backend
Leveraging Analytics In Big Data
JSW Steel Ltd.
This award was bagged by a Steel Manufacturer with a global footprint in over 140 countries, it is India’s second largest private sector steel manufacturer, JSW Steel Ltd. Recognised for deployment of SAP BW/4 HANA leading to large scale adoption of analytics and covering a range of 100 + manufacturing KPI’s. This project enabled near to real time, system based operation parameters monitoring.
Breakthrough Innovation – Large Enterprise
Mahindra & Mahindra
The award under this category, meant to recognise large enterprises that have leveraged technology and innovation to disrupt or remodel their business and create new revenue streams, was given to Mahindra & Mahindra. It is one of the most recognised and respected brands in India. A diverse conglomerate with global presence in more than 100 countries, with a proven track of innovation in every sector it has stepped into. Their special project that replaced physical testing of auto engines to a completely virtual process played a decisive role in placing them at the podium spot of this league.
Digital Initiatives in Public Services
Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd.
Digital Initiatives In Public Services, an award set around recognizing initiatives that drive inclusive growth and digital transformation of public services and state departments with technology, was given to Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd. It is the largest state owned power generation utility in the state of Andhra Pradesh, and they have upgraded to SAP S/4 HANA to automate business operations across functions.

The ACE Disruptor Award For Excellence in Human Experience Management was given to TATA AIG General Insurance Company, that has recently completed 20 years in India and is one of the most respected General Insurance Providers in India. SAP Ace Disruptor Award for Financial Transformation (Large enterprises)
L&T Finance Services
The award was given to one of India’s leading financial services company, and a part of India’s most diversified conglomerates, Larsen & Toubro Ltd. They were awarded for catering to the diverse financial needs of customers across various sectors and for transformation of Treasury Management function by leveraging SAP TRM platform.

Wakefit Innovation Pvt. Ltd.
The ACE Award for Excellence in Financial Transformation was crowned upon Wakefit Innovation Pvt. Ltd., a digital first company making major ripples in the mattress and sleep solution space. They have been awarded this recognition for an excellent implementation of SAP S/4 HANA Retail Merchandise with multiple models that has resulted in automated, accurate and real time profit analysis, faster monthly book closure, real time control over inventory and production planning.

SAP ACE Disruptor Award for Excellence in Manufacturing Transformation (Large enterprises)
Steel Authority of India Ltd.
The prestigious award was connoted upon Steel Authority of India Ltd, one of the largest stell manufacturers of India. Leveraging SAP SRM and other modules, it has completely transformed its manufacturing process at the IISCO Steel Plant. This transformation completely enhanced quality control, reduced production losses, better asset management, improved production planning and reporting.

Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd., world’s fourth largest speciality generics company was accoladed under a special recognition for Human Experience Management by SAP at the ACE Awards ceremony. SAP ACE Award Jury recognised one of the Largest Urban Local Bodies in Asia, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai under The Game Changer category. The local body manages an area of over480 Sq. kms, and provides services to over 10 million citizens. They were applauded under this category for successful implementation of SAP S/4 HANA to build a robust digital core to build a comprehensive citizen engagement platform and systems for effective planning and budgeting across all departments.

Virescent Infrastructures:
This award was given to a new age renewable energy platform, Virescent Infrastructure, currently managing 395 MW of solar assets across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. They procured a comprehensive rise with SAP implementation involving S/4 HANA Private Cloud Edition.
AP ACE The Game Changer Award (Mid-sized enterprises)
Global Vinyl Pvt. Ltd
The second award under this category was given to Global Vinyl Pvt. Ltd, a pioneer of synthetic leather manufacturing in Sri Lanka. They are applauded as the ace of this category for the implementation of SAP Business One HANA on cloud, a solution covering Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, Sales & Service, while also gaining the ability to serve customers better and smart technology and processes.
SAP ACE Special Jury Recognition for The Community Catalyst
Noida Power Company
Under a special recognition by SAP ACE Awards Jury, the Noida Power Company was recognised as The Community Catalyst. It is a state and private joint venture, engaged in power distribution at a massive scale. They have been recognised for end-to-end integration of customer complaints for supply outage by giving customers proactive intimation on outage of power supply.

Recognising a special nomination under this category, the jury chose the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, an institute for advanced scientific and technological research, for setting new benchmarks in the education sector with successful implementation of SAP S/4 HANA across all its departments and functions.
